My friend Kenny Nishikawa’s band The Fiends combines the live feel of hip hop and jazz funk into an upbeat genre of their own. I absolutely enjoy mixing live instruments because of the dynamics that are involved, and not to mention that REAL people are playing these parts instead of MIDI. There’s nothing like listening to live music, let alone mixing it. Please enjoy the song that I mixed titled “Ain’t That Easy” by Tha Fiends.
